Impact for Capstone:
Capstone Logistics is searching for a Director / Senior Director of Human Resources that has a passion to be on the front line and working hand and hand alongside our operational leaders. The Director / Senior Director of Human Resources will be responsible for working closely with management and operations teams on people-related issues such as: employee relations, conflict resolution, organizational and performance management, training, and development. The individual will play a key role in initiating and driving HR programs, policies, compliance management and business initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate is one who has a demonstrated track record driving HR initiatives and that mitigate risk and has proven success in a fast-paced, high-touch environment with a drive innovate.
Capstone focus Areas:
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function and the company.
- Reinforce and help instill company's mission and strategic vision.
- Develop HR plans and strategies to support the execution of the overall business operations objectives.
- Selected individual will facilitate coaching and guidance to site leaders and associates regarding employment issues in areas as policy and procedures, dispute-conflict resolution, corrective action, leaves of absence, harassment, and terminations.
- HR Compliance (Statutory, Regulatory, Contractual, HR Technology, Internal, and Training)- aligning workplace policies with a city's, states, and labor laws in sync with industry-specific regulations and managing policy setup as well as enforcing practices to follow these policies daily.
What Capstone is seeking:
- Certifications preferred: Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 - 7 years) of demonstrated HR leadership, compliance, and management experience in distribution/manufacturing environments.
- Analytical mindset ability to utilize insights to help make informed decisions and mitigate risk in a fast pace and high impact culture.
- Proven interpersonal skills - ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders to achieve a positive outcome.
- Analyze findings and review trends with key stakeholders and recommend actions to ensure positive organizational changes and adherence to policies.
- Review, evaluate, monitor, administer, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies and procedures.
- Complete required Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting and ensure Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) compliance.
- Have proven experience with performing investigations and preparing written responses to EEOC claims, unemployment claims, etc.
- Technical knowledge of Human Resources specialties including employment law, employee relations, management, and organizational development.
- Able to manage competing priorities and effectively manage across multiple functional areas.
- Demonstrated ability working within and successfully navigating and influencing organizational change.
- Strong collaboration skills to effectively build alignment with the internal stakeholders on the employee strategies needed to support business KPI's.
- Solutions oriented.
