Quality Auditor
As a Quality Auditor, you are the front line of defense. Your primary focus is on meticulously auditing the quality of incoming loads, ensuring compliance with standards, and identifying any deviations.
Start of Shift:
• Enter the warehouse with the required safety attire, including a vest and safety toe over-the-ankle boots.
• Clock in at the designated time and work function.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings covering safety topics, announcements, stretches, and work assignments.
• Gather auditing tools, ensuring the tablets are charged and schedule is uploaded.
• Proceed to the assigned work area.
Conducting Quality Audits:
• Observe the quality of the load upon arrival, review loads for violations, identify and document root causes through tablet procedures.
• Capture and save appropriate pictures to effectively communicate violations, utilizing multiple angles if necessary (up to 30).
• Utilize the comment section to provide additional context if required.
• Ensure the accuracy of information before saving and uploading.
• Repeat the process for each violation until the truck receipt is completed.
• Auditors may audit multiple loads simultaneously and rotate through breaks and lunch to cover all docks.
• Continue auditing throughout the shift until given approval to end.
Audit Questions for Full Load Audit:
Assess various aspects of the load, including floor loading, pinwheel or side loading, transit-related shifting, proper stacking, overhang, pallet quality, mix of product, packaging conditions, traceable dates, case markings, adherence to receiving procedures, and other relevant criteria.
