About the Role:
The HR Compliance Coordinator role will provide dedicated support on all aspects of the background check screening process within Capstone Logistics. They will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing and evaluating background checks in compliance with applicable laws and company procedures as well as tracking and providing daily status updates to appropriate HR and Operations staff. This includes:
- Evaluate applicant background checks designated for further review and perform individualized assessment to evaluate the candidate's suitability for hire
- Interface with various levels of management to advise of outcomes based on applicable screening procedures and laws
- Track ongoing status of all candidates in the hiring process and provide daily updates
- Partner with Supervisor and others to make recommendations and seek guidance to ensure compliance
- Answer questions and provide support as needed
- Maintain the confidentiality of all candidate records
- Recommend ways to improve the process for maximum efficiency
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
- May include other areas of compliance for the qualified candidate
This is a hybrid role but the ideal candidate would be located near our Boothwyn, PA office.
What You Need to be Successful in the Role:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1 or more years of HR generalist experience, preferably within a high-volume, fast-paced and dynamic organization
- Experience with HireRight, Careerbuilder and/or other background screening systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Good verbal and written communications skills and can interpret information and articulate recommendations
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to organize, prioritize daily work and execute against deadlines
