Shift:

Hybrid Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (In office) and Wednesday and Friday (Remote)

The Accounting Manager position will be a part of the Capstone Warehouse Services (CWS) division accounting team and will report to the Sr Accounting Manager. Capstone develops supply chain solutions in warehouse, freight management, distribution center support, and last mile delivery. Capstone is a North American supply chain solutions leader with over $1.5B in annual revenue. Capstone works with a diverse group of partners, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small manufacturing operations and distribution networks. The main industries the Company serves include retail, consumer packaged goods, food & beverage, healthcare, and automotive.  

Job Responsibilities 

• Partner with the Sr Accounting Manager to establish/develop processes and controls around collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. 
• Managing and overseeing the daily responsibilities of the staff accountants. 
• Training and supervising the staff accountants. 
• Improving and enforcing company financial policies and processes.  
• Performing or Overseeing Monthly/Quarterly Tax Reporting 
• Performing or Overseeing Monthly Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations 
• Other Duties as assigned.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point. 

Education/Experience 

• Must have Public Accounting Experience 
• Minimum of 5 years management experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university. 
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in accounting. 
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains a plus. 
• Must have worked with large firms or corporations.  

License/Certification: 

• CPA (Preferred)
