People Operations Coordinator

Reports To:

Manager of People Operations and Director of People Operations

Hours:

40+ hours per week -- depending on current job assignment

Classification:

Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Handle the day-to-day administration of assigned areas of responsibilities and processes to ensure all requirements are met and implemented effectively.
  • Interact and provide HR support to all levels of management and field personnel within a wide range of related topics.
  • Support the implementation of human resources policies, programs, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients,

Customers and the general public

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • 2 years experience in ADP HR/Payroll Systems
  • 2 years of ADP UCM experience is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organization and prioritizing skills
  • Adaptable to change

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide all levels of management and field associates with policy interpretation and act as resource for a variety of requests for information
  • Establish professional relationships with all levels of management and field personnel
  • Ability to make decisions in accordance with laws, regulations and established policies
  • Prepare and run HR metrics reports
  • Maintain statutory record keeping and filing systems
  • Manage new hire input and pre-employment procedures
  • Utilize advanced computer software skills (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, databases, etc.) to maintain HR files and reports needed to satisfy information requirements of internal management, benefits management, benefits providers and regulatory agencies
  • Manage Unemployment Claims Management
  • Assist with the benefit administration processes, including eligibility and enrollment rules in order to ensure correct implementation
  • Use problem resolution skills to investigate, resolve or direct to appropriate resources, various associate inquiries

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Typing /filing
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree is preferred.
