JOB SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Janitor is responsible for keeping all working and storage areas of the distribution center in a clean and orderly condition, at the direction of the Team Leader and/or Operations Management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

(Duties and responsibilities may be changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.)

  • Deep cleans, sweeps and/or mops assigned areas, including aisles, compactors, dock areas and levelers, floor racks, etc.
  • Dusts posts, barriers and fire exit stations
  • Cardboard breakdown
  • Trash removal
  • May include operating various types of warehouse janitorial or material handling equipment such as tuggar, tenant sweeper and scrubber, pallet jack, forklift, baler and compactor
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
