Job Description

Capstone Logistics, LLC is part of The Transportation and Logistics industry which has been designated a "Critical Infrastructure Segment". As a "critical infrastructure industry" worker in the Transportation and Logistics industry, associates are considered exempt from local restrictions such as curfews, shelter-in-place orders, and other mobility restrictions when reporting to, returning from, or performing his or her work functions.

Priority Express is looking for a talented Operations Manager for our Aston, PA location to support our business growth. This position plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so that materials are located and distributed in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy external customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and directs the workflow of the warehouse staff to include scheduling and managing labor costs, recruiting, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure efficient use of warehouse space.
  • Review ASN files to ensure proper receive/load scan and produce OS&D.
  • Monitor accuracy and develop and implement improvements when necessary.
  • Evaluate warehouse equipment and identify needs for disposal, acquisition, or relocation or equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with parties both internal and external to the organization.
  • Ability to analyze problems and make recommendations for effective resolution.
  • Commitment to customer service.
  • Minimum of 3 years warehousing experience.
  • Minimum 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
