Switcher Non CDL
1st Shift: Monday - Friday (weekends when required) 7:30AM-4:00PM
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday (weekends when required) 9:00PM - 6:30AM

JOB SUMMARY:
- The Non-CDL Van Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting hot parts to the Nissan Plant using company-owned Sprinter vans. This role requires strict adherence to safety guidelines, company policies, and all traffic regulations to ensure timely delivery of materials that support production operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities:
- Operate company Sprinter vans to deliver hot parts between designated locations and the Nissan Plant
- Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
- Follow all traffic laws, posted speed limits, and company driving policies
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and mileage reports
- Participate in random drug and alcohol screenings per company policy
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of parts, maintaining delivery accuracy and timeliness
- Immediately report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to supervisor
- Demonstrate professionalism and safe driving at all times, representing the company positively

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience:
- High School Diploma
- Valid state Driver’s License
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety inspections (per/post trip)
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Ability to frequently enter/exit Sprinter Van
- Ability to frequently bend, lift, push, pull, and reach during loading and unloading
